What is Flagship Global Health? |
Flagship is a membership-based service that provides priority access to exceptional medical specialists who are typically difficult to see. Whether you are in need of a second opinion or a surgical procedure or would like to see a specialist for disease management, Flagship can find and make an appointment with the appropriate specialist. If you find yourself in an emergency room or experiencing an unanticipated hospitalization, Flagship will act as your advocate to make sure you have all the information you need to make the best decisions about your care. |

Is Flagship an insurance company? |
No, it's very different. That's why there are no issues with pre-existing conditions or family histories. There also are no waiting periods; anyone is able to join immediately. |

How does Flagship recruit and qualify its physician specialists? |
At the core of our service is a network of physicians unlike any other. Physicians join the Flagship medical network by invitation only and must meet Flagship's high standards for medical excellence in order to receive an invitation. It is not enough to have graduated from a top medical school or to have an affiliation with an excellent hospital. It also is not enough to be a strong contributor to medical research or to have a reputation for a good bedside manner. Rather, it is a weighted combination of these and other factors that helps Flagship identify individual physicians with the right credentials to oversee our Members' health. |

How long will I have to wait to get an appointment with a Flagship physician? |
One of the unique attributes of Flagship is priority access to top physicians. We make every effort to set appointments for emergencies on a highly expedited basis and, for routine matters, often within one week. |

Can I obtain a list of Flagship's physician specialists? |
You will find a list of the Specialty Chief Consultants physicians who head each specialty and assist in identifying and recruiting all physicians in our network on our website (www.flagshipglobalhealth.com). Because Flagship has an extensive process for identifying, qualifying and contracting specialists for our network, we do not publish the entire list as it could make it available to non-Members. |

Does the Flagship membership fee cover my physician bills? |
Enrollment fees do not cover physician or other healthcare fees. The Member is solely responsible for paying all bills. Flagship physicians may or may not be participating physicians in your heath insurance plan. |

How does Flagship help in the case of an emergency? |
Flagship will provide support and advocacy for Members during an emergency room visit or unanticipated hospitalization. Understanding that it can be difficult to make decisions and mobilize resources in times of duress, our aim is to ease the stresses for our Members during these experiences. Our physicians and registered nurses can provide emotional reassurance, explain medical terms, discuss hospital culture and common routines, and recommend resources. |

What is medical air evacuation? |
We have partnered with a well-known air evacuation company to provide worldwide medical evacuation services to our Members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our partner operates a fleet of state-of-the-art, medically equipped aircraft staffed with trained physicians and nurses to transport you from one hospital to another when the distance between the two exceeds 150 miles. |

Do you manage my medical records? |
We provide a secure, internet-based application that allows you to record your own personal medical information. If you choose, you then may grant access to this information to the Flagship physicians who are helping you get well. |

| How do I join Flagship? |
Fill out the Enrollment Form and other relevant forms, and forward them directly to Flagship. If you are part of an employer-sponsored program, your employer will instruct you where to return the forms. |

How do I pay for Flagship Membership? |
You can pay your membership fee by check or credit card. If you are part of an employer-sponsored program, your employer will notify you of the process for paying membership fees. |

May I remain a Member if my employment changes or I retire? |
Yes. In either case you would receive a schedule for your annual membership fee. As long as you pay your enrollment fee, you remain a Member in good standing. |
