Overview
Global Health ID is a secure, web-based, repository for your personal health information. You should carry your Global Health ID with you at all times, so emergency personnel anywhere in the world can access your vital health information through the Internet even if you are unconscious or otherwise unable to communicate. This vital information can include:
Current and past medical conditions
Current medications.
Allergies.
Blood Type.
Physician and family contacts.
Vital documents such as a living will and health care proxy.

Global Health ID is also a lifetime personal health record that contains valuable information about past and present health issues. Unfortunately, few people keep good records or have easy access to those records. Global Health ID makes it easy for you to update, access and share your medical information with your doctors and emergency care personnel.
You can enter your medical history and update your record through a standard web browser and decide with whom and how you share it. When visiting a new doctor, you can simply print out a copy of your record or provide him/her with password-protected access to your information on-line.
Should a medical emergency arise, your Global Health ID provides emergency care personnel with access to your vital medical information using the web address and ID number listed on your card. And, they can only view the information that you've chosen to make public. All other information in your record is password-protected and can be shared with others at your own discretion.
